Intro
Sahaad Empowerment Foundation is a Nigerian nonprofit working to improve understanding, support and inclusion for autistic and neurodivergent people.
We believe awareness should lead to practical action. Families need reliable information, schools need useful tools, communities need better understanding, and autistic and neurodivergent people deserve to be represented with dignity.
Why Sahaad exists
Too many families struggle to find clear, trustworthy information when they begin seeking answers about autism or neurodivergence.
At the same time, misunderstanding in schools and communities can lead to behaviours being judged rather than understood.
Sahaad exists to help close that gap through practical information, education, inclusion and responsible storytelling.
What we do
Sahaad Navigate
Practical information and guidance to help families understand autism-related information, support options and possible next steps.
Sahaad Include
Resources and education designed to help teachers, schools and communities create more inclusive environments.
Sahaad Stories
Responsible storytelling and public education that challenge misconceptions and encourage a more informed understanding of autism and neurodivergence.
How we work
We are building Sahaad carefully. We do not want to exaggerate our reach or make claims that our work cannot support.
As our programmes develop, we will share what we are doing, what we are learning, our partnerships and our results as transparently as possible.
