Transparency & Governance

Building trust through transparency

Sahaad Empowerment Foundation believes that trust should be earned through responsible governance, honest communication and accountability.

We are currently strengthening our organisational systems as part of Sahaad’s renewed phase of development.

Our commitment

As our programmes grow, we are committed to:

  • using organisational funds responsibly
  • maintaining appropriate financial records
  • protecting the dignity and privacy of the people we work with
  • following appropriate safeguarding practices
  • being honest about what our programmes have and have not achieved
  • avoiding exaggerated impact claims
  • managing partnerships responsibly
  • reviewing and improving our work as we learn

Governance

Sahaad Empowerment Foundation is registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission.

Our governance arrangements, policies and organisational information will continue to be strengthened as the foundation develops.

Reporting our progress

As reliable programme information becomes available, we intend to publish relevant updates on our activities, partnerships and results.

We believe that meaningful impact should be demonstrated through evidence rather than claims.
